A good restaurant at the Asian Civilization Museum. One of the key feature of the restaurant is the terrific view of Singapore River side. Had the set lunch and it was a sumptuous dim sum and Cantonese style dishes. Great layback ambience. Very good attentive service

Was a bit nervous coming back after 2 years as I’ve read reviews on how the quality has dropped, but my worry was unnecessary. Food is still as good as before, perhaps with the exception of the halibut that we felt was not as fresh. Managed to impress my superb cook sis in law and her entire family so that’s an absolute win. Favourite dishes include the black pepper beef, Hokkaido scallop (asparagus was HEAVEN), impossible mapo tofu, and roasted duck. Not to forget the Ginger Bread Creme Brûlée! Thank you once again for making our Christmas dinner memorable!

Quite disappointed with the flavour or the food. Quality is good, like the prawns were juicy and fresh, but the flavour was meh. Salmon skin was incredibly crunchy though. Sure we were there for an event but expected a lot more flavour wise. Surprisingly enjoyed the black sesame ice cream.

Took the sharing 70$ tasting menu and the food was delicious , so as the view from the inside and outdoors. Loved the deep friend salmon skin and shrimp soup. Maybe the only disappointing dish was the Empress rice but the rest was great. Good for dates and celebrations

Standard dropped to disappointing level. Beijing duck came with just skin, meat is used for fried rice separately but where is 一片皮一片肉, skin yes but no meat, too oily to just consume the skin with the wrap. 辣子鸡 more like popcorn chicken, not awful but definitely not as named. Dim Sum can avoid, only siu mai is OK. Skip the soup and cocktail too. For the river view, yes. For the food at this price, no.

I was glad to pick Empress as the venue for my wedding dinner that was reasonably priced. They incorporated our feedback during the food tasting. Shoutout to Jack, our coordinator, and Maggie, the floor manager. They were crucial in making sure the events ran smoothly and the guests complimented the food.

Underwhelming set lunch. Portion of second course main dish was really small, the fried rice was served in a very small bowl. I'm not a big eater but I did not feel full after the three courses, not to mention my male colleagues. Not value for money. Waited quite long in between courses.
